Breaking News: Suspect arrested after fatal altercation
Allegedly, both men had been drinking before an argument broke out between them during their walk home.
The blood stains were still visible on his pants, when police officers arrested the man suspected to have murdered an acquaintance in Siyahlala-la earlier today.
According to witnesses and police sources, the two men had allegedly been inebriated at the time of the incident.

The argument developed into a full blown fight, and the suspect drew a knife on his friend.
Fearing for his life, the victim attempted to escape into a nearby home but the suspect gave chase and cornered him.
“The victim was stabbed once in the neck, he tried to run away, but bled out and passed away moments after leaving the home,” explained a source.
The suspect allegedly attempted to escape after the reality of his actions dawned upon him, but nearby police had been alerted to the situation. Through the help of the community he was arrested and the murder weapon was recovered.
Hundreds of community members showed their anger by lining the streets, shouting profanities at the suspect when he was arrested.
The suspect has since been taken to the police station for questioning.
Investigations continue.
