At the recent Phenomenal Invisible Women Community Awards, DA Ward 4 Councillor, Tanya de Jager, was one of many extraordinary women honoured for their commitment to the community. Cllr de Jager said she felt very grateful to receive the award. “I have worked for this community for the past two decades and I feel very blessed to have received this award,” she said.
Cllr de Jager thanked the committee, as well as founder, Sonja Luus and her team for the honour.
“In my capacity as the councillor for Ward 4, I also want to thank Vish Govender of the Community Services Department for facilitating the process of keeping my ward running as smoothly as possible.”
