Night Market fun in Queen Street

Market patrons took the opportunity to get some of their Christmas shopping done before the festive season rush

A Night Market was held at the Old Mill in Queen Street on Friday night. A range of culinary delights were for sale, as well as many interesting arts and crafts items. The warm weather, accompanied by a gentle breeze, added to the outdoor feel of the event, as market patrons took the opportunity to get some of their Christmas shopping done before the festive season rush.

Stall-holder Nabeela Sader baked a whopping 96 cupcakes for her and her mother’s stall, and all of them were bought! It was a good evening of bargain hunting, craft shopping and snacking as those who attended enjoyed the market vibe until late in the evening.
