In her book she invites readers to join her as she discovers a great love which she says is the best remedy against the beast of despair.
The journey of life is not always easy. It is filled with hardship and difficult decisions, intermingled with the successes and triumphs.
No one knows this more than Meena Naidoo, a woman who has travelled down the path of life and picked up many golden keys to happiness along the way.
Born into a modest family, Mrs Naidoo has been determined to leave her mark on the world from a young age. Park benches and wet cement among many other canvasses bear testimony to her determination to tell her story.
A devout woman, Mrs Naidoo is married to Jamie Naidoo, a pastor at the Royal Priesthood Ministries in Newcastle. A great motivator and speaker, she has learned that through her troubles in life, she can enrich the lives of others.
“I also host conferences for women,” she said. “I have a zeal and passion to see people’s lives change for the better.”
In view of this desire to see others flourish, Mrs Naidoo has written a book that she titled For a love like this.

“I take my readers through a variety of paths that I have travelled. There are also many personal stories that are powerful because of they are true,” she said. “I am absolutely head over heels in love with the One who knows me better than I know myself and my passion is to introduce Him to as many people as I can.”
One of her biggest inspirations to write the book was her experience with faith. As a young girl, Mrs Naidoo scribbled her name down on almost any surface her pencil would write on.
“After a dance with the Prince of Peace, I could not stop writing His name on the walls,” she said. “I was so in
love with Him, it just never stopped so I decided that it was time to reach out and touch the lives of people by a simple yet a true story.”
Although her story may never reach people in faraway places, she hopes it can reach someone and give them hope.
“With this in mind I finally put this book together. Finally, in finding myself, I can scribble my name on this book.”
Throughout the book Mrs Naidoo drops golden keys that were engraved on her heart. From successes to failures, she never gave up on her childhood dreams as she went through life.
For a love like this will teach readers about weathering the storms of adversity and that you will make it through the insecurity, loneliness and despair.
“You are the designer of your own future,” she said.
After three years of working on her book, she can now proudly say she has accomplished a great milestone in her life. At her 50th birthday celebration recently she was surrounded by friends and family and her book was launched.
“No matter who or what you are, where you come from or what you may look like, this book offers hope, courage and inspiration to anyone who wants to make the most out of life, despite challenges and pain,” she said.
