Pirouetting into greatness

Nine ballet students from Jenny Devenish School of Ballet successfully completed their Dance Academy of South Africa Major Examinations, which were held in Pretoria on Thursday 27 November.

Merit passes were awarded to Taryn Harry (Intermediate Foundation), and Reandie Fick and Lynelle van Niekerk (Intermediate).

Morgan Maartens (Intermediate Foundation), Mardy Conradie and Kolette Nortjé (Intermediate) and Hannelie Bremer, Christel Bremer and Nadine Maartens (Advanced) passed with distinction.

A year-end function was held at Xanadu Nursery. Hannelie Bremer was awarded the Dancer of the Year Trophy for being the top student with 93 per cent..
