Cats are being targeted

‘Cat Lover’ writes:-

I JUST need to bring this to the attention of the Vryheid community, as I am very concerned by what is happening to the cats at Vryheid Hospital.

It was brought to my attention that there is a cruel person/persons who is killing the cats, either by poisoning them or hitting them to death with sticks. Some are not even dead and are left to die. Even baby kittens are killed. Some are left without the mother and are dying of hunger.

I really think they are sick and cruel. I would have reported it to the SPCA but I do not know who these people are.

Last year I landed up feeding orphans which are still here, but I am afraid that they will also be slaughtered. We need cats here to keep rats and snakes away.

Just to let everybody know that I am a cat lover and very concerned about what is happening.
