Blood buddies stick together

49 people attended the blood clinic, 43 bled the precious gift of life, and the SANBS team warmly welcomed two new blood buddies

The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) made their way to the town hall on Thursday, January 8 to host the first monthly blood clinic for the year 2015. To their surprise, there was a rather slow start to the clinic, this may be a result of vacationers still being away from home, and hopefully the situation will improve as the festive season nears its end and schools reopen.

49 people attended the blood clinic, 43 bled the precious gift of life, and the SANBS team warmly welcomed two new blood buddies. The South African National Blood Service team and Clinic Co-ordinator, Mr S Dawoonarain would like to thank all blood donors for attending the blood clinic and hope that more support be shown at the next blood clinic, which will be held on February 12.
