Catwalk queen to visit the Drakensberg
The three-day and two-night model boot camp will equal to 72 hours of pure fashion fun

From humble beginnings, born and raised in Phoenix surrounded by poverty and drug abuse, Neetasha Singh has mastered the art of creating her own opportunities. She will be sharing her experiences and advice during a charitable fashion boot camp, which will be held in the Drakensberg in August.
Neetasha Singh’s modelling has allowed her to travel to countries for shows such as Malawi Fashion Week, Africa Fashion Week London, Delhi Fashion Week, Zambia Fashion Week, India Couture Week to name a few. To date Neetasha has travelled and modelled across 32 countries. She has also acted in local movies ‘Bombay Duck’, ‘Tokoloshe’ and ’31 Million Reasons’ and has anchored for Eastern Mosaic, 1KZN TV and she is currently a presenter for East n Style on Ann7 DSTV, which airs four times a week. Not to mention all the features in international magazines such as Model View, Vogue India, Deb India, Lipstick Red, Elle UK, Enlighten India Magazine.
“I have modeled designs by Vikram Phandis, Swapnil Shinde, Dax Martin, Thula Sindi, Varun Bahl, Manish Malhotra,” says Neetasha. Neetasha has now secured the lead role in a Bollywood movie! “I am also the Brand Ambassador of Done Couture and Hair & Beauty Unlimited in Durban. Ever since the tender age of three, I have desired being on stage, whether it be modelling acting or dancing.”
Neetasha’s burning passion has kept her on and off stages as a professional model for the past 13 years. The 25-year-old says that her very first pageant was the Miss Teen India SA, which she entered at the age of 12. All aspiring models can soon meet the rising Bollywood star and sign up for the ultimate training workshop which is to take place on August, 7, 8 and 9 in the Drakensberg. The three-day and two-night model boot camp will equal to 72 hours of pure fashion fun. The camp is to focus on nutrition, personal fitness, etiquette, aerobics/yoga sessions, individual catwalk training, portfolio management and team-building, to mention but a few.
It will also feature high end fashion photo shoots with leading South African photographers and training with recognised supermodels. This will be Neetasha’s seventh model camp and all the funds raised during these camps are donated to needy charities within KwaZulu-Natal.
