Condomisation Park leaves a legacy… again

A sign asking park-goers not to drink alcohol, litter or play loud music was just ignored said residents who contacted the Courier.

As predicted, the public parks are coming under strain over the long weekend.  Good Friday was a bad day if you lived in the vicinity of the newly-named Condomisaton Park on McKenzie Street.

A large gathering left behind a collection of beer bottles, KFC boxes and other mess after enjoying themselves.

A sign asking park-goers not to drink alcohol, litter or play loud music was just ignored said residents who contacted the Courier.

Said one resident who preferred not to be named”  “I woke up on Saturday to the worst mess in Fornication Park I have seen in months. Party was relatively quiet, and I was watching a movie, so I didn’t hear much. Kentucky boxes and all other related messes lined up to my garden wall. See the unwashed masses are drinking ciders and Bavaria alcohol free beer now. Still have Johnny Walker Black. …hmmm…therre could be a PhD in anthropology lurking here. ….”
