Sarel’s young lions meet former Bok player
The team also had the privilege of a coaching session with former Springbok player, Braam van Straten.
It was great excitement that the Sarel Cilliers High School rugby boys left to take part in the 32nd annual Amajuba Sport Week hosted in Volksrust last week. The young ‘lions’ participated in three matches and the scores were:
Sarel vs. Affies (PTA) 19-17; Sarel vs. Ermelo 17-21; and Sarel vs. Marais Viljoen 21-30.
The boys played excellent rugby and it was a very good learning experience. The team also had the privilege of a coaching session with former Springbok player, Braam van Straten.
