Colley Street – Dundee’s most dangerous road?
'Speed bumps are desperately needed as people are speeding, ignoring the stop street'.

The most dangerous piece of road in Dundee could be Colley Street – near the Cornhill Street intersection. Residents said at around 7am yesterday, they witnessed the seventh accident in the area in as little as three years.
“Luckily this blue mini did not go land in someone’s garden as the other six cars did,” said one resident. Others told the Courier that the driver of the blue car had chased a man driving a bakkie who had apparently skipped another stop street.
A chase ensued which resulted in the blue car crashing. It was not immediately clear if there were any injuries.

Said another resident:
“We have had seven cars go through our neighbors walls already. Our own houses have been narrowly missed. The municipality have been informed and we have requested speed humps as they use our road as a racing track, to no avail. Will it wait til a car either goes through a house or a child is killed next to the road.”
