Nardini children have been very busy this term with school work as well as sports.
They have had sports tournaments locally and outside Vryheid. They won some of their games and lost some.
Both Senior Hockey boys and girls went for District Hockey trials in April. Six of the boys made the Inter-district Zululand Hockey team: Asanda Makhathini; Minenhle Dlamini; Sandile Zwane; Njabulo Mncube; Philasande Mbanjwa and Ismaeel Kathrada. They will play the Natal Inland Tournament in Pietermaritzburg.
For the Hockey girls, Siyamthanda Mthembu was chosen as a non-travelling reserve.
Last term Fanele Mbatha was chosen to swim at the Zululand District Champs. He went to Durban on Saturday to join the team there and he improved his time.
