LHS pupils light up lives

Staff and pupils were introduced to the Light up a life campaign, inspiring them to go out of their way to collect funds for a worthy cause.

Pupils from Lincoln Heights Secondary School and Ms A Mahomed recently had the pleasure of joining the Newcastle Women’s Forum and Channel Islam International (CII) in handing over solar lights to the pupils of Sinobile Combined School in Normandien.

Staff and pupils were introduced to the Light up a life campaign, inspiring them to go out of their way to collect funds for a worthy cause.

The experience allowed pupils to make difference in the lives of children and brought about a new-found appreciation for facilities and resources often taken for granted.

The school thanked the pupils and the community for opening their hearts and wallets for Sinobile Combined School.
