There was some real fun in the sun when Dannhauser Secondary School hosted a Fun Walk on Saturday.
Learners and even some parents laced up their takkies and took on the challenge of walking the 10km walk. The aim of the fun walk was to raise funds for the planned school trip to Durban. While it was all about having fun and keeping fit on the day, there were also great prizes on offer for the winners.
Simphiwe Dube finished first ahead of Eric Jele and Thami Mavundla, a caretaker at the school. Dannhauser Secondary thanked Veez Micro Enterprises, Boss Security, Kismet Supermarket, Umzinyathi Business Solutions, Cambrian Pharmacy and Chiefs Hardware for helping make the day a huge success.
