BREAKING NEWS: Employee stabbed during midday robbery
Teenagers in particular, are said to be causing mayhem in the area.
A shop worker was stabbed in an armed robbery on Tuesday afternoon.
Residents who were first to offer assistance said the worker claimed to have been attacked by four teenage children, who ransacked the shop.
The suspects then fled into the veld near the complex on Renoster Avenue.
A resident, who lives in the area, said the shop worker immediately exited the store and screamed for help, ignoring blood running down his back.
The worker was then transported by ambulance to Madadeni Hospital for treatment.
An additional witness said he noticed the suspected robbers fleeing into the overgrowth, although he was not aware of the stabbing incident at that time.

“Crime wasn’t a problem until recently. Now the children do drugs in the abandoned Post Office building,” the resident added.
An official statement from the SAPS is expected soon.
