Planned water cut on the cards

Expect no water on June 2.

A planned shutdown at Tayside is set for  June 2 from 11 am to 3 pm which will result in a water cut for the Dundee, Glencoe, Wasbank and Hattingspruit areas .

“The contractor will install a new panel and conduct some electrical work (change cables over).  The civil contractor will install an isolating valve at the Low Lift pump station manifold where the third abstraction pump will be installed.  Consumers  should note that water will be restricted  as the plant reservoir levels will drop,” said Hannelie Hickley, Senior Manager: Operations and Laboratory Services with uThuekela Water
