Dundee Rotarians encourage community to step out to support school shoe drive
Dundee Rotary Club’s Step for Shoes 5km Walk will raise funds to buy school shoes for children in need.
Dundee Rotary Club is calling on residents to put their best foot forward in support of local schoolchildren at its Step for Shoes 5km Walk.
The charity event takes place on Saturday, October 10, at Dundee Golf Club, with the walk starting at 8.30am.
Entry costs R50, with funds raised going towards buying school shoes for children in need.
The event offers residents an opportunity to enjoy a morning outdoors while making a practical difference in the lives of local learners.
With the message “Take a step. Make a difference”, every participant will help put a smile on a child’s face – and a pair of shoes on their feet.
