Thugs targeting medical facilities and patients

At least three medical facilities in town have already been targeted.

Police sources are advising residents who are visiting doctors and pharmacists to be wary of a group of alleged criminals who have their sights set on you.

According to sources, a number of reports have surfaced surrounding this group, implicating them in cases of pick-pocketing, muggings and shoplifting.

The sources advised residents to be wary of groups targeting these medical establishments.

“We believe their MO (Modus Operandi) is for one of the suspects to wait within the premises of the centre. They search for the unmindful customer, and single them out to accomplices waiting outside,” said the source.
