Robbers vandalize Glencoe home

Clive Botha, who now lives in Newcastle, said the house has been empty for three months and the furniture had been stored there.

An already bereaved family are reeling after thieves robbed and vandalized their late mother’s home on Damman Street, Glencoe, over the weekend.

“The geyser has been stolen along with copper piping, taps, furniture, wiring, doors, cups, cutlery, glasses, fans and clothing.  The ceiling was also damaged and the wash basins, bath and toilet..Every time we secure outside doors the thiefs come back and take out. he house is laying in estate and nearly finalised and now this has to happen. My siblings are lost for words.”

Clive said the Glencoe police have been told and an investigation is underway.
