Police bring in three for questioning following horror murder

Three people - including two brothers and a woman - were taken to the detective offices

Police have brought three people in for questioning following Thursday’s horrific murder on Browning Street.

Rekha Govender (30) was found to have been brutally stabbed and strangled to death in her house on Thursday.

Police confirmed that several items, including a flatscreen television, removed from her house had been recovered.

Three people – including two brothers and a woman – were taken to the detective offices on Gladstone Street for questioning.  No other details have been released as yet.  Rekha’s funeral has had to have been held over (it was to have gone ahead on Saturday) while police complete a postmortem.
