Five car collision at road works

Two people sustained minor injuries yesterday evening (July 16) following a collision involving five vehicles.

The incident occurred at the stop-and-go along the N11, just past Waterside Wimpy.

It is unclear how the collision occurred, but a source on the scene claimed the damage to the vehicles were minimal and the motorists escaped major injuries.

Motorists are encouraged to be vigilant and cautious when driving near road works.
