KwaNotshelwa High School recently hosted its matric dance, giving the Grade 12 learners an opportunity to celebrate their final year of high school with their peers, educators, former educators and neighbouring schools.

The celebration had two sessions, with the first taking place at Zamokuhle Hall in Coronation.

Learners encouraged to focus on academics

The programme opened with a prayer before the celebrations got underway. The learners were encouraged and motivated to remain focused on their academics as they prepare for their trials and final examinations.

Having already started writing their trial examinations, the matrics were reminded of the importance of putting in the necessary effort as they approach the final examinations.

An evening of glitz and glamour

The second session took place in Durban, where the pupils dressed up in their gala dinner attire for an evening of glitz and glamour.

The learners enjoyed dinner and had an opportunity to celebrate together while creating memories of their final year at school.

Best wishes for the final examinations

The school wished all the Grade 12s the best of luck as they prepare for their final examinations and encouraged them to remain committed to their studies.
