Care centre provides food parcels for 50 homes

Sikhona Care Centre put smiles on faces for Mandela Day by generously donating 50 food parcels to 50 families in the Ezakheni area. The food distribution was held at the Sikhona offices in Ezakheni B-Section on Saturday.

Funds were made available by the Department of Social Development to allow the centre to cater for the 50 families.

The parcels consisted of food items and also household products.

The delight on the faces of the recipients made the staff of Sikhona Care Centre feel proud of their efforts.

Project manager LR Mazibuko encourages people to serve in their community in any way they can and to make every day a Mandela Day.
