Ward 16 councillor gives uniforms to schoolchildren
The school teachers were tasked with identifying the learners who are in need

One of Emnambithi/Ladysmith Municipality’s councillors, Cllr M Zwane (Ward 16), dedicated his 67 minutes on Mandela Month by giving back to the community.
He handed over school uniforms in Watersmeet at Gcizela Primary School. The school teachers were tasked with identifying the learners who are in need.
“Education is a tool that can change the world to be a better place. This is an important quote and Nelson Mandela taught us to inspire change,” said Cllr Zwane.
“On behalf of the school, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Cllr Zwane for the school uniforms he handed over to our needy learners. It will really boost their self-esteem and their performance in the classroom will improve,” were the words of school principal Mr PJ Mazibuko.
