Woman shot in the head and left for dead
Anyone who is able to assist in identifying her body is urged to contact the investigating officer.
A woman who sustained a gunshot wound to the head was found alive near Eenkantlangs Farm near Utrecht on July 12 at 9am.
“She was unable to provide any information with regards to her name or address as she could not speak due to her injuries,” read a statement issued by the SAPS Media Centre.
Unfortunately, the victim passed away at Madadeni Provincial Hospital later that day.
The victim, believed to be between the ages of 20 and 25, was fair in complexion and had braided hair.
“At the time of her discovery, she was wearing a black top with ECKO 93 in front, blue skinny jeans, a greyish nylon belt and black tekkies with pink shoe laces.”
Utrecht police requested anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward immediately.
