Residents bleed big for SANBS

An astounding 88 donors attended the monthly bleed, 80 pints of liquid love was collected by the SANBS

The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) hosted their monthly blood clinic on Thursday, August 13 from 11am to 6pm.

Female donors streamed through to make their bloody contribution towards this worthy cause in commemoration of Women’s Month.

An astounding 88 donors attended the monthly bleed, 80 pints of liquid love was collected by the SANBS and 30 new blood buddies were welcomed.

The SANBS team and the Clinic Co-ordinator Mr SM Dawoonarain say they are impressed by the attendance and encourage the community to keep it up.
