Fighting against child labour

National Day Against Child Labour was celebrated in Steadville on Friday, with Deputy Minister of Labour Nkosi Phathekile Holomisa addressing a crowd of over 100 children at the AG Magubane Stadium.
The message on the day was to stand up and fight against child labour.
Pupils at 8 different schools from in and around Ladysmith were the distinguished guests and were treated with respect and love by the dignitaries.
Song and dance featured prominently at the function, with the schoolchildren dancing and singing passionately to show they are united in this cause.
Speaking to the children present, Deputy Minister Holomisa addressed the problem of child labour facing South Africa.
After the entertainment, and the talk given by the deputy minister, a delicious lunch was served to all at the function.
