Road accident wreckages

An accident on the P16 where a driver and his passenger were lucky to escape with minor injuries after the vehicle they were travelling in overturned.

KWAZULU Private Ambulance’s Vryheid team responded to several accidents over the past weekend, attending to patients with injuries ranging from minor to severe.

Saturday saw the Vryheid crew respond to an accident on the P16 where a driver and his passenger were lucky to escape with minor injuries after the vehicle they were travelling in overturned.

Eight people sustained moderate to severe injuries in a motor vehicle accident on the corner of Church and Emmett Streets in the early hours of Sunday morning. KwaZulu Private Ambulance responded, attending to patients at the scene and transporting them to Vryheid Provincial Hospital for further medical treatment.

Emergency crews responded after a vehicle overturned on the R34 Melmoth road just past the fuel station. Six people sustained moderate injury in the accident. It is believed that the vehicle’s tyre burst, causing the driver to lose control, subsequently overturning the vehicle.
