Golfers unite for children

Newcastle Golf Club hosted the ninth annual ABSA Golf Day for Morester Children’s Home on Friday, August 18.

Golfers took to the course despite overcast conditions and enjoyed a good round of golf.

The golf day was an enormous success, raising a whopping R 40 000.

All proceeds will go towards maintaining the home’s 58 children in Newcastle, 139 in Ladysmith and 15 babies at Home Meah.
