Vryheid Cricket Club – Sponsors step up to the crease
The aim of constructing new nets was to bring new technologies and bigger dimensions into play which will improve the whole practice environment for current and future generations.
Vryheid Cricket Club, in their off season, embarked on constructing new practice nets for its members.
The old nets in the north east corner have served well over the past three decades and have helped many a cricketer to improve their skills. The aim of constructing new nets was to bring new technologies and bigger dimensions into play which will improve the whole practice environment for current and future generations. We want to take this time to thank all the businesses that helped to turn our vision into a reality.
Firstly, a huge thanks to Wayne Bissett from Siyaxhasana Construction for all your support, guidance and workmanship through every phase of the project. Also, Mac Arthur from Radical Solutions who supplied and fitted the state of the art carpets, Karel van der Walt from Rendeals Fencing who erected the fencing, Mark and Leon Klusener from Klus Civils for their generous donation, and Afrimat for supplying the concrete. It has been an awesome experience to be in partnership with these great people. Thank you!
