Turning pink with caring
Dundee has now come on board with Anderson and Vogt leading the way in memory of their beloved Eben Gerryts who passed away from the disease earlier this year. Several other businesses have also pledged their support by going pink.
Driving up Victoria Street these days, over the railway bridge towards Pro Nobis School, is a lot more colourful than it used to be.
The staff at Anderson and Vogt have wrapped pink material around the pillars of their office building to show their support for the CANSA Pink Trees for Pauline campaign.
The colourful and caring initiative raises awareness, unites communities and raises money for those afflicted with cancer in a uniquely inspired way…by turning towns pink!
Pink material is draped around trees in the town, adding colour to communities and giving hope to those who are without. During the 2014 project nearly 65km of material was sold in 101 towns.
