Cyril in magnificent golfing form

There will be fifteen members travelling down to Pennington on Wednesday to compete in the KZN Mens Golf Inter-Club tournament this weekend.

Saturday’s golf competition at Dundee Country Club was played in the individual Stableford format which saw a moderate field of 27 players taking part. Wining the day with an outstanding 42 points was Cyril Mkhwanazi, followed by Billy Francis in second place with 39 points, managing to count out Marc Bradbury also finishing with 39 points. Marc was the lucky winner of the Jackpot, scoring 12 jackpot points.
Two clubs were carded by C Mkhwanazi on No’s 12 and 16, W Maritz on No.16, B Chiwaya on No.12 and Natasha Du Plessis on hole No.4. Last Wednesday’s 9 hole Chicken Run only attracted a handful of players, and winning the chicken on 19 points was Dave Donaldson.
There will be fifteen members travelling down to Pennington today (Wednesday), to compete in the KZN Mens Golf Inter-Club tournament this weekend. The tournament will be played over three different courses, namely Selbourne, Umdoni and Umkomaas.
Fixtures for this week: Wednesday 9 Hole Chicken Run, Friday, 10 Hole Meat Competition, Saturday Club Competition, I.P.S.
Members are reminded that the Dundee Country Club AGM will be held this coming Monday, November 2 at 6pm.
