Khulisa gets ‘hands on’ in fundraising
Rather than just asking for handouts and donations, the staff of Khulisa decided to prove their worth by taking a hands on approach in their fundraising efforts and working as waitresses for the evening of November 3, shadowing the Golden Peak Spur staff and assisting them in their duties.
KHULISA staff recently held a ‘Shadow Evening’ at Golden Peak Spur in Vryheid to raise funds for their organisation.
Rather than just asking for handouts and donations, the staff of Khulisa decided to prove their worth by taking a hands on approach in their fundraising efforts and working as waitresses for the evening of November 3, shadowing the Golden Peak Spur staff and assisting them in their duties.
In return for their hard work, Spur kindly donated ten percent of the takings for the the evening to Khulisa.
