As the school year comes to a close, pupils are rewarded for various educational achievements.
Esperanza Special Needs School held its annual prize giving last Friday.
Pupils were rewarded for their hard work, dedication and perseverance.
“2015 was a good year, as we have had more pupils admitted to the school and they have truly developed,” said Jennifer Pillay, principal of the school.
She said the children’s growth was closely linked to the dedication of the staff.
“The teachers work with their hearts. What do your children mean to us? They mean the world to all of us at Esperanza,” Mrs Pillay enthused.
Parents beamed with pride as their children received prizes.
“Parents should not look at what their children can’t do, but at what they can do,” Mrs Pillay concluded.
