A cow needed to be rescued after it got stuck in mud in the Danskraal area this morning.
The animal got stuck in open veld behind Sasko. Sasko employees realised the cow was in difficulty when they arrived at work, and immediately contacted Public Safety and Animal Anti-Cruelty to ask for help.
Half of the cow’s body had sunk down into the mud. The employees waited patiently for Public Safety officers to arrive, who successfully rescued the scared and helpless animal.
It is now peacefully grazing and unharmed.
