A crowd favourite, this team put on a brilliant display of spinning stunts and skills through clouds of smoke.

THE daredevil manoeuvres that drew speed-junkies to a recent spinning event were inspired by the lion heart of a courageous teen.

Fans watched excitedly as spinners showed their skills, pushing their vehicles to the absolute limits.

15 year old Junaid Opperman will soon be spinning his own set of wheels after funds raised from the event are used to purchase him a new wheelchair.

Junaid was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at the age of 5. Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) is a form of muscular dystrophy, which, according to Wikipedia, affects around 1 in 3 600 boys, generally resulting in muscle degeneration and premature death.

PAPA V8 emerges from a billowing cloud of smoke, tyres screeching and the smell of burning rubber lingering in the air, to the absolute enthrallment of the crowd.

Despite his illness, this courageous youngster has battled the odds and is fighting the brave fight with the full support of his parents.

Unfortunately, the battle does not come cheap and medical bills become quite costly. With this in mind, Junaid’s parents recently held a spinning competition in order to raise funds for a wheelchair for their ailing son.

These two drivers put on a riveting display of synchronised spinning for the crowd.

The event was well supported and crowds flocked to watch through billowing clouds of smoke how daring drivers and their seemingly fearless passengers, in some cases, put on a show of epic proportions.

Massive cheers rang out in the stands, from behind the protective piles of old tyres, as contestants of all ages showed what they are made of, proving their mettle, hanging on to twisting and turning vehicles by the crook of their arms, feet skidding through the dust and burning rubber as the drivers push their cars to the absolute limit, tyres screeching and engines revving, much to the complete captivation and enthrallment of the fans.
