MISSING: Family frantically searches for teen
The community is urged to be on the lookout for Tanay Singh, who has been reported missing.
A family are desperately searching for their 15-year-old nephew, Tanay Singh, after he went missing on November 27.
According to his aunt, Ravina Singh, Tanay has been living in Johannesburg with his uncle after his parents passed away.
“Tanay took his uncle’s car and we believe he came to Newcastle, as the vehicle was found near the Hare Krishna temple,” she said.
However, despite the car being found, Tanay has not been seen.
“We do not even know what he was wearing last,” said his distraught aunt.
The community is urged to be on the lookout for Tanay and to contact his uncle, Joe Singh on 082 688 9536 or 034 317 3930 if he is seen.
“We just want Tanay to come home. We don’t care if he drove all the way from Johannesburg. We just want to know that he is safe and for him to be with us for Christmas,” Mrs Singh concluded.
