On Friday, December 4, St Gregory Primary held its annual Prize Giving Ceremony.
The morning was an opportunity to acknowledge and praise learners for their achievements, and to thank parents and teachers who have helped them this year.
Learners received a wide range of awards.
The following learners received special awards:
• Homenet Trophy for perseverance – Mcebisi Gumbi.
• Mortimer Motors Trophy for Service Above Self – Andiswa Zungu.
• Service Above Self Junior Trophy – Jared Robberts.
• Round Table Good Fellowship Award – Nhlakanipho Hadebe.
• Dormehl Property Group Trophy (Mathematics) – Desireé Drewett.
• Annemarie Rohrs Extra Mile Trophy – Xolile Mbongwe.
• Alicia Wood Language Trophy – Nhlakanipho Hadebe.
• Top Academic in grade seven – Nhlakanipho Hadebe.
• Top Senior Sportsman – Khalipha Shabalala.
• Top Junior Sportsman – Sithokomele Nhlabathi.
