Sad end to case of missing granny (96)

Tragic end to missing person case

Farm workers yesterday came across the partially decomposed body of an elderly woman who had been reported missing by her family on November 23.

The grief-stricken Dlamini family from Sithembile are desperately searching for 96-year-old Allen Makhomba Dlamini Khuzwayo.

Allen went missing in the early hours of Sunday morning, November 23.

It is alleged that his grandmother walked out the house at 3:30am – she was prone to wandering around often looking ‘for her late mother’.

Her body was found on a farm in the Dundee policing area on the Wasbank road near Indumeni mountain.  Police suspect that she had somehow managed to walk to that area from Sithembile and probably succumbed to heat exhaustion.

Deepest condolences to the Dlamini family.  The funeral will be held next Saturday, December 26, in Nyanyadu.
