Toy Story spreads smiles for Christmas
The best part of seeing a child open a gift makes me feel overwhelmed...

The Christmas spirit was alive and well in Dannhauser this past festive season thanks to Lalitha Bhugwandin and the big hearted community.
Mrs Bhugwandin wanted to do something special for the disadvantaged children of the town and so Toy Story 2015 was born. Dedicated to the memory of her late son, Kavith, Mrs Bhugwandin had a vision of starting a worthy initiative to collect toys every Christmas to brighten the lives of children in need.
“Christmas is such an exciting time for a child, and I wanted to give every child that magical experience. Christmas is a time when all our disadvantaged children should feel they belong regardless of certain circumstances and so with the help of the community, we were able to deliver over 400 gifts to the children in need around my community,” said Mrs Bhugwandin.
Mrs Bhugwandin urged the community to join hands with her every Christmas and help make it a special one for all the disadvantaged children in the area.
“The best part of seeing a child open a gift makes me feel overwhelmed,” she said.
“All this wonderful work could not have been achieved without the generous support of my family and the community. I want to thank all who supported me in my vision in making a huge difference in the lives of our disadvantaged children this Christmas 2015,” Mrs Bhugwandin concluded.
