A man with a love for motorcycles
Over weekends, Brent enjoys taking his friends and family for long rides on his red Hyosung GT 650R

Brent Jansen van Rensburg has had a penchant for motorbikes since he was a wee tike, and it’s proving to be a life-long passion.
Now at the age of 19 years old, Brent owns a red Hyosung GT 650R motorbike which he purchased in November last year.
From a young age, he was always fascinated by the loud noise of motorbikes, not to mention their slick looks and bright, vibrant colours. He remembers as a toddler constantly nagging his parents for toy motorbikes. Obviously, his toy box was chock-a-block with miniatures.
Brent was born and raised in Pietermaritzburg, and would visit his family in Ladysmith over weekends and holidays.
The time came when he decided to move to Ladysmith and now he permanently resides here. “I love this small town and the friendly faces,” smiles Brent.
Over weekends, Brent enjoys taking his friends and family for long rides on his motorcycle.
A curious Ladysmith Gazette journalist asked him what his favourite motorbike is and he instantly replied, “A KTM Duke 690!”
“I wouldn’t trade in my love for motorbikes, and this passion of mine will never stop speeding along,” says a revved-up Brent.
