Ladysmith High School (LHS) held trials for their upcoming inter-house athletics meeting on Friday, January 15.
The learners who made it into the top three in each event will now compete in the inter-house athletics meeting this Friday (January 22) at the school grounds.
The learners are divided into two ‘houses’ which compete against each other, namely Kinru and Bengold. These two groups compete right through the year, with a point system in which every competitor can win points for their ‘house’. The team with the most points at the end wins a trophy.
