Dundee Angling Club reels in good results

The first competition of the year was fished at Chelmsford Dam Zone D on January 17. Sixteen anglers participated and 77 fish weighing 75,838 kg were landed.
Results were as follows:
Seniors: 1. Hannes Kleinhans 11 fish – 8,924 kg – 199,24 points. 2. Cyprian Mdunge 7 fish – 8,369 kg – 153,69 points. 3. Nico Swart 7 fish – 7,740 kg – 147,40 points.
Juniors: 1. Ruben Kenchenten 5 fish – 4,892 kg 98,92 points.
Penkoppe: 1. LC Meintjes 8 fish – 4,559 kg – 125,59 points. 2. Teegan Pillay 5 fish – 3,966 kg – 89.66 points. 3. Hano Kleynhans 4 fish – ,917 kg – 49.17 points.
Louis Mbatha won the pooled prize of the day with a carp of 2.854 kg.
