Car crashes into ditch, no one hurt

FIVE youths miraculously escaped entirely unscathed on Wednesday evening when the vehicle they were traveling in missed the corner and came to rest on its side in a ditch.

The cause of the accident is unclear, but according to the passengers, they were traveling down North Street towards the Enviro Centre when the incident occurred at the corner of North and High Streets between 7pm and 8pm on Wednesday night.

The young men were visibly shaken following the incident, but attribute their complete lack of injury to the fact that they were wearing safety belts at the time of the misadventure.
