Excitement builds for Winter School’s Challenge

Excitement is building as one of the biggest local sporting events draws closer. The Endumeni Winter School Challenge will once again take place at Kallies Stadium from May 5-8, 2016.

Organiser, Ash Khan invited schools to participate in last year’s edition and has no regrets as the event proved to be a great success. Last year u/13 learners from eight different schools participated in three sporting codes, cricket, soccer and netball. The schools will do battle once again in this years tournament.

On Thursday, May 5, there will once again be a school only day, when scholars can buy an armband for R80 which entitles them to entry to the event, unlimited rides, juice, a hot dog and access to all the sporting action which also includes u/13 boxing as well.

 
This year’s Endumeni Winter School’s Challenge promises to be bigger and better thanks to the bumper packed entertainment planned. With sporting action, DJ’s, magic shows, modeling, a funland and funworld, volleyball and thunee, it’s one not to be missed.
There are also plans to have a BMX riders perform tricks.

 
Mr Khan also hopes to close off Bulwer and Old Acre Streets, where the stadium is situated, to ease congestion and provide easy access for emergency vehicles.

 
Residents around the stadium will be given permits to access the area.
Stalls will be limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
