Brandon Halforty is hooked on fishing

Brandon Halforty has done it again. For the second year in a row, the local lad has received his Protea Fresh Water colours.
Brandon achieved the remarkable feat while representing KZN at the SA Championships which were held at Bloemhof, North West during December.
During the first few days of the competition, Brandon caught 98 fish and 170 in the trials he caught 170 fish, which placed him second overall.
Brandon then impressed fellow fishermen at the Vaal Dam in January where, during a competition, he caught 47 fish to finish first in the u/19 category.
His parents are very proud of his achievements and have wish him well for the future.
