The croc, which is about 2.5 meters long, was swimming along this river, which is close to a construction site.
Officials from the Weenen Game Reserve were called in to remove the large croc.
Dozens of people gathered on the river banks to watch, for many this was the first time they had seen a crocodile.
Reserve officials caught and removed the crocodile, it will be released in a safe area.
