It has been said that in times of crisis, we should look for the helpers. The current water situation in Vryheid is one of critical proportions and there’s very little that stands out more than the willingness of one man to help another in times of need, and even more so, an entire community. Arshad Manjoo, on behalf of the Muslim community of Vryheid, delivered water to the Harpo School in Lakeside last Thursday. Learners lined up to help offload the truck, which had arrived carrying 500 much needed 5 litre containers of precious water for the school. Harpo Primary School Principal, Mrs MD Masombuka, extended her gratitude to the benefactors, thanking them for their kindness and consideration.
