Endless sewer problems face business owners at the corner of King and Lyell Street, with claims that sewage has been pouring out of drains from December last year.
Raw effluent pours out on a daily basis; not only that, but also oil and fat.
According to businessmen, the stench is unbearable whether it is hot or cold.
uThukela workers went through yesterday (Tuesday) to fix the drain, but that did not help, as the sewer continued to flow.
“I am fed up with this stinky problem. uThukela needs to wake up and sort out this issue as soon as possible,” commented one furious businessman.
