A routine walk past the Msotsheni River in Weenen turned into a day to remember for a security guard yesterday.

The guard spotted a “strange thing” in the muddy water and upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a crocodile.

Several crocodiles have been spotted in nearby rivers recently.
